hi all,
i am now in yellowknife. it is really cold but it is so cool to so how things and ppl react to it being so cold.
for example, the snow is just like dust and there is no water anywhere outside, and it looks like a scary white winter wonderland.
the people are so used to the cold that -20 is a warm weekend.
the northern lights are so amazing especially when they wave and move like in brother bear.
Yesterday i saw one so bright and moving, there were shades of not only green but yellowish too, and it was spiraling and waving.
i am freezing my toes off while all of this is happening though.
